About Us

The Looking Glass has been graded five stars by Orbitz and Yahoo.com. In 2006, the "Leaf Chronicle" stated the "Looking Glass" is the best restaurant in town.  "We always wanted to be one of the Clarksville's best restaurants and are gratified that our customers tell us that we are," said Mrs. E. the Owner.   There is a full staff for three shifts, breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Every morning, the staff arrives and starts all over again dedicated to preparing delicious food and making customers happy.  Customers place orders for our cakes from coast-to-coast.

We have been awarded the "Most Cosmopolitan Award."  "The Most Romantic Place in Clarksville Award" as well as numerous citations from local businesses and Fort Campbell.

In 1998, The Looking Glass was created primarily as an art gallery, which served a light gourmet menu and specialty coffees.  This menu is now expanded.  Customers still sit inside our Zen garden and watch Japanese koi, listen to the fountain and enjoy a leisurely meal.

Originally, the recipes and art were gathered from Col. and Mrs. Edington's travels where they attended art shows and visited artists in their homes.  The Looking Glass staff is from many countries and they change the menu monthly and have evening features from their country.  The entrees, desserts, breads, and cakes are made fresh daily.  No preservatives or taste enhancers are used in any preparation.

The Looking Glass is Clarksville's first smoke-free environment.

Tablecloths' and accessories change colors according to the featured holidays, weather conditions of the staff's mood.
